I have been collecting genealogical information on the various branches of my extended family for over a decade. Over the years, I’ve become frustrated that these lives (almost 1500 of them) are reduced to data points. There are so many stories hidden behind the data!
This blog will be an attempt to humanize the genealogical process and offer some colour commentary on the lives of my family — the kinds of things that don’t necessarily fit into a data field. I’ll also chronicle the discoveries I make along the way.
